NOVEMBER NEWS

Valley Elementary PTA November News

November arrived and brought with it chilly temperatures and lots of activities here at Valley. Student Teachers have been working in some of our classrooms gathering knowledge and experience from our Valley Teachers. Over the course of the next few months we will feature those student teachers and how they are enjoying their time in the VES classrooms.

Construction Update
Construction Update: Phase I construction is complete. We have a new parking lot and the front of the building is ready for New Construction. The next phase of the construction will be the actual building of the new West Preston addition. The project is scheduled to go out for bid soon.

Veterans Luncheon
73 Veterans attended our luncheon. The children really enjoyed themselves. We would like to send out a thank you to Mrs. Pifer’s Kindergarten class and to the VES Student Council for singing during yesterday’s program. A thank you also goes out to each and every volunteer who took time to help with the day.

Welcome VES Community

WELCOME

Welcome to the all new Valley Elementary Cougar's Corner. The new blog spot that will be replacing the Valley Elementary PTA newsletter. We want our parents, grandparents and community to be able to have access to the most up to date information concerning activities, fundraisers, and all ideas with our PTA. Each month we send home a long newsletter showcasing our events and PTA news. We all know that this newsletter can get lost in transition, is forgotten in the abyss that is the children's desks at school and so many other reasons that we as parents do not see these newsletters. With our new Blog you as parents will have instant access to the news as we write it. Our blog is available online and through the Blogger App that can be downloaded through Google Play or iTunes. You Do Not have to have a gmail account to read our Blog. We will be able to showcase our school and our PTA throughout the school year and at times will have Guest Bloggers who will be able to provide our community with some very important information on popular topics. So Welcome Again to our new Blog! I hope this will be another tool to keep everyone as informed as possible. I look forward to future posts!
